Hey everyone I'm Amanda, Ever since I found out about ReecesRainbow in March of 2010(When my parents commited to bring home my sweet brother) I decided that I would not sit back and the worlds most treasured angels perish. I'm 15, soon to be 16, and I love children with all of my heart! I'm the second oldest of 7 kids. Yes I said seven, Six of which are biological. Only one adopted sweet boy, Vahnya, who you all know if you read my blog or my sisters or our moms. He is the best little brother I could ask for. He is extra special, how you may ask, he has Down syndrome which to us is a TOTAL and COMPLETE blessing. He came home on March 30, 2011. A year and 20 days after we committed to him. He is 3 years old and the sunshine of my day! I love him with all my heart. I also have a strong passion for the most high, Jesus. Jesus is my best friend, I can tell him anything and no matter what he's always there for me. He is a big part of my life and I believe with out him we wouldn't have my little brother here with us. I was home schooled from the 3rd grade until last year when i went to public school. So there's a little about me. :)

I the oldest of these four, I'll be 17 in September. But I never feel like the "mommy" figure while I'm talking to these three girls. They are so mature and we get along so well! I have always loved adoption, I used to make my barbies adopt. I do not have a family member who is adopted, but I am ready to change that. Reece's Rainbow was brought to my attention by Amanda and Madison when they were working to bring their baby brother home. I fell in love. I love kids, always have, always will, but seeing these kids that are so alone, so unloved, so neglected, broke my heart into a million pieces and I knew the only way to begin to put that back together was to do the best I can to help them. My heart will never be the same, the pieces will never fit together the same way again. I dream to be a social worker and help place children from all over the world with their forever families. I am a tiny person with a big voice and I am not letting the ocean stop me from loving these kids. I hope to one day adopt from Ethiopia and save beautiful children from starvation, abuse, torture, and disease. I believe God makes Ethiopian children stand out to me because that is where I am supposed to go. He has chosen me, chosen my future child for me to love and I am going to follow his plan. It's out of my comfort zone, all of this is, but I know that is what drives these dreams of helping. Although I don't have a sibling with special needs, I have been allowed to experience in the blessing that these children bring to life and the amount of love and joy that comes with those smiles.

Hey I'm Madison I am 14 years old, I have 6 siblings and I'm the 3rd oldest! When my parents found RR I was so interested in it. My parents commited to adopting my little brother, Vahnya, on March 10th 2010, my mom's birthday! He came home on March 30th 2011 and what an amazing day it was!!! It took us 1 year and 20 days to bring him home, it was a long 1 year and 20 days but I would do it all again in a heartbeat!!!! When I found out what happens to these beautiful children when/after they turn 4 I cried it hurt so badly to know what happens to such amazing children!!!! As I watched the videos of the people "living" in mental institutions in Eastern Europe I knew I had to help the children on RR and find them familys before they were sent to "live" a life like that!!! Vahnya turned 3 on November 3rd 2010 he is the light of my life I love him so very much!!!! I have fallen in love with all of the children on RR and one day hope to adopt my own little angel(s)!!! My dream is to go to Ukraine, visit the orphanages, and play with the children that are living in the orphanages I know I will some day but I wish that day could come sooner!!! I have been home schooled since 1st grade but I will be going into public high school this fall!!! I hope through Guaridan Angels we will find "Forever Families" for many children! Are you one of those families?
