Hello everyone!
April was a crazy for Guardian Angels! We announced we were going to fundraise for the Rhodes family, and within just a couple of days, they received the help of a matching grant and were fully funded!! We asked the Rhodes if they knew of someone we should help, and they said the Coles! So again, we announced and in just two days they received the help of a matching grant through the same organization and were fully funded before we knew it! We are so thankful to the people who donated to the matching grant and lifted up both families in prayer! Please continue to pray for the Cole family, as Beth and Dan are with their girls now! It is a long trip, so we ask you pray for them, their boys at home, and their girls’ freedom!
This is a first for Guardian Angels! Never have we had a family become fully funded so quickly after we chose them, much less two times in a row!! Now, don’t get us wrong, this is the BEST thing we could EVER run into! Our goal is to see children come home, and that is happening! But then, it also meant we had to decide who was next!
When I saw that the Cole family was funded, I quickly typed out a message to Genesis, Madison, and Amanda, sharing the news and then suggesting a new family. I knew what I was saying was nothing new to the other girls’ hearts!
You see, we know this family well. We have known this family since BEFORE they decided that adopting from Reece’s Rainbow was something they were ready to do. We love this family…..a lot. What was fun about this time, is that we decided NOT to tell the family before we announced. They are reading the same post you are! :)
So, for those of you who don’t already know them, we would love to introduce you to….
The Quinn family!!

| Laura (2) |
You may know one or more of its members through the lovely land of blogging! The Quinn’s fifth child, Laura Brianne, was born on October 25th, 2009 with Down Syndrome and a heart defect. Laura’s heart was fixed just a couple months after her birth, and now at 2 and ½, Laura is thriving! She is walking, dancing, signing, babbling, and is a complete and total blessing to her family.

Ashley became involved in Reece’s Rainbow after discovering it online fell in love with all the sweet faces. She shared pictures with her family and after a while her parents started to think about adoption. However, when they saw “Donna,” they knew it was time to take the leap of faith and commit to adopting a child who shared the same magical extra chromosome as their youngest.
Autumn Brooke (listed as Donna), is three years old and living in Eastern Europe. The Quinn’s have been committed to adopting her since June of 2011. They are preparing to make their first trip in the next 4-8 weeks but they still need to raise a few thousand dollars by then!!

After that initial trip, an estimated $20,000 is going to be necessary to complete the rest of the adoption. They will make 3 trips before bringing their Autumn home. The Quinn’s (and Guardian Angels!!) have faith that God will provide for this adoption. Autumn is meant to be a Quinn!
So, Guardian Angel followers, Reece’s Rainbow/Down Syndrome advocates/adoption lovers/parents, grandparents/fellow Christians---The Quinns need a miracle!!
We started their fundraising a little early so that we could fundraise for them the rest of April, all of May, and all of June! We wanted to raise $75 before we even announced, however when our chipin didn't budge, we decided we may be more successful announcing and then asking for donations. I
If you can make a donation, we ask that you please do so to help bring this family together. A donation of ANY size, whether it is $1, $1,000 or anywhere in-between, it is appreciated! Money should not and does not separate a mother and father from their child, brothers from their sister, or sisters from their sister.

We ask that you pray for Autumn, and for the Quinn family as they get closer and closer to each other! Please lift them up in prayer and support them both financially and spiritually!
If you/someone you know makes items (blankets, quilts, clothes, jewelry, artwork, home décor..etc) and you or someone you know is willing to DONATE them for giveaways/silent auctions to benefit Autumn’s adoption please email Guardian Angels at guardianangel.h@gmail.com. We will mention your business/shop to our followers and supporters if you would like, but can also keep donors anonymous if desired!
You can make a donation AT ANY POINT to either the chipin page on the right side of our blog labeled “bring Autumn Brooke home” or to the Quinn’s adoption grant on Reece’s Rainbow.
Please share this link, as well as Guardian Angels’ facebook page with friends and family so that we can get as much support as possible for the Quinns’!
Quinn family, we love you, we are praying for you, and we are so thankful to know all of you!
