For the months of July and August, we held a Kutless auction, a Parent's Night Out, this giveaway, and Lindy House (Genesis' mom) donated a photo shoot.
All together we raised $384 for the Brook family!!
The Brook family left this morning to go meet their daughter! It's been a rough month for the family. As you know, they were originally going to adopt a sweet little boy, Elijah. Just a couple weeks ago, they found out that their little boy had passed away due to heart surgery complications in-country. Still short on funds, the Brooks, after a lot of thought and prayers, decided to continue their adoption and decided that they would adopt sweet Haleigh from Reece's Rainbow! With the help of friends, family, complete strangers, and TWO matching grants, they raised the money necessary and are off to meet their little girl! Please keep them in your prayers as they travel!
Thank you to everyone who helped us this month! Both us and the Brook family are extremely thankful! Stay tuned to hear about our next family!
