This week, one year ago, The Guardian Angels wrote their very first blog post, announced we would be fundraising for the Kelley family, and announced our first fundraiser (a change drive that had started about a week before in Portland).
Since last July, we have helped 9 families (two of which got a matching grant within days of us announcing, making for a very exciting month!), held multiple Pare...nt's Night Outs, a change drive, and a bakesale. Three of us walked in Portland's Buddy Walk in September, wearing Reece's Rainbow t-shirts, the same three painted nails and put feather hair extensions in people's hair at a craft-fair, and we have had giveaways made possible by our wonderful followers, and countless emails sent to vendors on Etsy.
Thank you, every single one of you, for making this last year successful! We cannot wait to see where this second year takes us and watch some amazing homecomings take place!
